What I have been doing is taking my Faststone jpeg files on a thumb drive to either Kinkos or Office Max and bringing my own quality paper and printing. When I called Epson to ask about this they implied that they couldn't guarantee that the printer would work unless I used Photoshop. To me a jpeg file is a jpeg file no matter how you made any color or other changes and in what program they were made. I may use the other RAW converters to manipulate the image but then I send them to Faststone for watermarks, dpi and image size on what size paper and any final simple tweaks and save as jpeg file. I am planning to buy an Epson R3000 printer and my question is can I use the jpeg files that I get from Faststone and send to the printer and then print ? I don't use Photoshop. I bought Lightroom but I don't like the results with Fuji X sensor.

I also have Photo Ninja, Silkpix (came with camera) and Lightzone, also a free program. I am also a big fan of Faststone for several years.
